We believe your days should be filled with awe doing what you love. And if being around water is what you enjoy, then it’s time to take the first step toward becoming a dive professional by becoming a PADI® Divemaster.

The Divemaster Course is the first level of professional training. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you will initially focus on improving your own dive skills; gain professional knowledge, management and supervision abilities; and go on to assist Instructor on various PADI programs, besides confidently guiding certified divers.

Divemaster is leadership-level training, and requires greater commitment and passion than recreational diving. At SEI, we understand that each individual is different and hence, customise the course to offer candidates the ideal training to be employable in the recreational diving industry.

To become a Divemaster, you need to proceed along the following path —

Open Water Diver (4 days, 4 dives, 18m maximum depth)

Advanced Open Water Diver (2 days, 5 dives, 30m maximum depth)

Emergency First Response (1 day, classroom program)

Rescue Diver (3 days, approximately 3 dives)

Total 40 logged dives

Divemaster (minimum 30 days, minimum 20 dives)

You can sign up for the courses individually & log dives at your convenience.

Alternatively, you can sign up for an internship wherein you work with our team for a 3-4 month period & complete all your courses from Open Water till Divemaster, as well as log the necessary dives.

The latter is the preferred route to a Divemaster certification because of the substantial exposure it offers to daily operations which in turn constitutes a well-rounded dive education.

There is often a place for deserving candidates on our team because we love working with professionals we have trained!
